Oregon Trail

The Oregon Trail

I am going to tell you about three differences between the olden days and modern days. The first being guns and ammunition. The second being vehicles. In addition, the third being technology.

Guns and Ammunition- Guns, and ammo have changes incredibly between the years. Back in the day when guns were, first getting introduced guns were basic and shot one bullet at a time. Now there is like six different types of guns theirs fully automatic, semi-automatic, bolt action, lever action, single shot, and a muzzleloader. It used to be that every time you shot a bullet, you would have to put the casing in, then the powder, and then the bullet. Even after that, you would have to pack it down with the ramrod. That gun back in the day is the current day muzzleloader. Now all you have to do is put the bullet in the clip turn the safety off and fire away

Vehicles- Vehicles between then and now are very different. People back in the day would consider a vehicle an Ox and wagon. Now theirs cars that go 150 miles per hour. Theirs also planes that go 40,000ft up. And subs that go 15,000ft down. Vehicles are a very useful technology, but not good for the economy. Oxen only cause nose stench

Technology- Technology has come a very long ways. Back in the Oregon Trail times, there used to be computers and phone that took up a whole room. Now theirs phones that fit in your pocket, and computers that fit in a backpack. You can also send a message in the matter of seconds it used to take weeks. You can also play games on phones, and everyone can have one. Back in the day there used to be one phone in a town; just a simple call and you are done.

I have told you about 3 different types of mechanisms that have evolved, and made our current world better. Now it’s time you go get one for yourself.
